LED Technology · Herford

Better light, lower running costs.

Old fluorescent tubes, halogen spots and incandescent bulbs use more electricity than necessary. We plan and convert your lighting to LED, whether at home, in the office or in an industrial hall. Brighter, more efficient, less maintenance.

At a glance
What exactly does an LED conversion bring?
Lower electricity costs for lighting, often up to around 80 percent compared with older technology, a longer bulb lifespan and less maintenance.
Who benefits from LED technology?
Homes just as much as offices, shops and industrial halls, anywhere lights are on often or old fluorescent tubes are still in use.
Do I need new fixtures, or is a retrofit enough?
That depends on the lamp holder (socket type) and the existing technology. We check on site whether replacing the bulb is enough or a new fixture makes more sense.
Can LED lighting be controlled?
Yes, dimmable systems and tunable white can also be connected to Smart Home or KNX, for lighting scenes and automatic control.
Who plans the lighting?
We handle lighting design, conversion and connection from a single source, from a single fixture to a complete industrial hall.

Cost-effectiveness

What the conversion brings

Savings and payback, honestly assessed

LED fixtures use noticeably less electricity than older lighting technology, and the lighting share of electricity consumption often falls by up to around 80 percent. In commercial premises with long operating hours, such as offices, shops or industrial halls, this becomes noticeable quickly. The conversion often pays for itself within just a few years. How much you actually save, and how quickly it pays off, depends on your existing system and daily hours of use.

All figures are general guidance only, not a commitment for your specific property. We prepare an exact cost and savings calculation after an on-site inspection.

Questions & Answers

Frequently asked questions about LED technology

How much does LED lighting save compared to older technology?

Compared with classic incandescent or halogen bulbs, LED fixtures often save up to around 80 percent on electricity costs for lighting. How much you actually save depends on your previous technology and daily hours of use.

Is an LED retrofit worthwhile for a business?

In offices, industrial halls and retail spaces with long operating hours, the conversion often pays for itself within just a few years, since less electricity is used and maintenance is needed less often. We work this out for you based on your existing system.

Can old fixtures be converted to LED?

Often yes, sometimes simply replacing the bulbs or ballasts is enough. In many cases, however, a complete new fixture makes more sense, for example for better light quality. We check this on site for you.

Is LED lighting dimmable?

Yes, with suitable dimmable LED fixtures and matched dimmers, brightness can be adjusted steplessly, and in some cases colour temperature too. The right combination of fixture, transformer and dimmer is essential, and we select it for you.

Do you also plan outdoor and industrial hall lighting?

Yes, from yard lighting to facade lighting to industrial hall lighting for commercial premises. We ensure sufficient illumination levels, glare protection and the right protection rating for outdoor use.
